Part One

Unbelievable - we bettered last year’s number by 16 pair, 266 pair of socks are bundled up and headed for Inn From the Cold.  I called ahead to arrange for help unloading them and my contact was  “very” excited to hear from us.  The importance of these donations are so critical, thank you all!

Part Two

​

In an unprecedented move, the figures for this year are being updated after Christmas, thanks to the extraordinary efforts of Dianne Stephenson’s daughter, Katherine. 

Dianne told Katherine what the Guild was doing and Katherine put out a collection box, at her workplace, and another 204 pair of socks were collected. 

WOW, WOW, WOW, the 2023 grand total topped the charts at 470 pair of socks! 

1. The original 266 pair were delivered to Inn from the Cold after our Christmas luncheon. 

2. From the new donation, Street Outreach will receive 79 pair of winter socks for distribution to youth at risk. 

3. The remaining 125 summer (ankle height and light weight) socks will go to Inn From the Cold for distribution in the warmer weather.
